We Care About Youth and Families Who are we?

The Lower Mainland Purpose Society for Youth and Families is a non-profit society. With over 100 employees, we provide a variety of social, health and educational programs together with a continuum of services to Lower Mainland communities.

Through our programs and services, the Purpose Society strives:

  • for stronger communities

  • for healthier families

  • for safer neighbourhoods

  • for laughing children

  • to make a difference

Fraser Health Authority Slashes "Stride with Purpose" Program!

The City Council has passed a motion made by Councillor Jaimie McEvoy supporting the Stride program:

"THAT the City support the Purpose Society in its efforts to seek restoration of funding for the Stride Program; and

THAT the City send a letter to the Provincial Health Minister, Kevin Falcon, requesting that funding for the program be fully restored. "
